Kubota's new
103hp Value for Money Tractor
For tractor buyers looking for a basic, user-friendly cab tractor
without advanced electronic functions Kubota now offers the 103
horsepower M108S.
Positioned between the M9540 with 95 horsepower and the new MX
powershift range, the M108S replaces the successful M105S.
The M108S has already proven its reliability and toughness under
hundreds of thousands of hours of testing in the field.
It suits customers who want built-in reliability and toughness
without the fuss, for a very affordable price of $86625 including
GST.
The 4 cylinder Kubota V3800 engine delivers 103 engine and 92 PTO
horsepower with a mechanical fuel injection system. It uses four
valves per cylinder and centre direct-injection to achieve
unrivalled fuel efficiency.
This is a workhorse that hasn’t forgotten the creature
comforts.
Featuring the distinctive new M-Series look, the M108S has a
slanted hood and halogen headlights with corner lamps. The one
piece hood allows easy access to all maintenance points such as the
oil dip stick and the slide out condenser with screens.
The clear view out of the tractor cab with its wide front
windshield and corner post exhaust provide good visibility for
front-end loader work.
Wide opening doors allow for unobstructed access into the cab. The
standard Grammer air ride seat with the high back is designed to
reduce operator fatigue for long working days. A tilt steering
wheel can be adjusted to suit the operator.
The simple, clear LCD instrument panel lets you know what’s
happening under the hood with travel speed, PTO speed and hour
meter. Air-conditioning as well as CD Radio, front and rear wipers
are standard equipment for the M108S.
Kubota’s hydraulic shuttle shift is mounted to the steering column
and is ideal for clutchless direction changes.
For ease of operation, Kubota offers the fully synchronized ‘swing
shift’ transmission with a total of 16 forward and 16 reverse
gears. An optional creep cassette provides eight additional slower
speeds for specialty work such as horticulture.
PTO speed can be changed between 540 and 540 Economy, while a
540rpm / 1000rpm kit can be fitted as an option.
Two hydraulic remote valves are fitted to the tractor, while a
third valve or flow control valve, is optional. Hydraulic oil flow
to the rear linkage and remotes is 65 l/min.
The new Kubota LA1403E hydraulic self leveling loader features an
improved lift height of 3470 millimeters measured under the bucket
and a maximum lift capacity of 1,210 kilograms at maximum lift
height measured 800mm forward.
A range of attachments are available, including a 4-in-1 bucket,
pallet fork, hydraulic bale grab and a bale spear.
Optional equipment such as 3rd function valve, shockless ride
accumulator kit and quick coupler are available.
The new M108S is a tough, no-nonsense tractor that is ready,
willing and able to tackle any task around a working property.
